What made Rightmove choose Monitor?

Working in IR, time is a precious resource. So when we need shareholder insights or market data, it has to be fast — and Monitor helps with that. Being able to get real-time shareholder changes, automatically log investor meetings from calendar invites or roadshow PDFs, access targeting tools, and assess roadshow ROI in just a couple of clicks has made a big difference. And having all of this in one easy-to-navigate interface makes it a truly valuable resource.

Monitor is also aligned with how we work at Rightmove. We are a digital platform with a focus on dynamic dashboards, and Monitor absolutely meets that brief from an IR perspective. Executive management have logins too, so they can see the same real-time information as me, rather than relying on static reports distributed periodically.

Which part of the platform do you use the most?

We use most parts of the platform on a regular basis, but the CRM is where we spend the most time. It’s very easy to get a full picture of our investor meetings and notes, which makes follow-ups and reporting smooth.

What I like is how the platform gives us built-in measurability. We can quickly pull stats on meeting volumes, types of investors, and the impact those meetings have on investments. So it’s not just a tool to manage meetings. By being connected to our shareholder register, it also gives us a measure of the impact of what we do.

You also use our analyst consensus service, Estimates: what benefits do you see with that service?

The Estimates team and functionality are great. They’ve allowed us to remove the work of compiling the consensus and instead use that time for analysis — which is particularly important at crunch times like period ends.

We’ve appreciated having the analyst consensus data available in Monitor. We can analyse the data in greater depth through the digital platform, compared to using spreadsheets. Having one vendor and one platform for several IR needs removes friction and makes our work easier.

Finally, how has it been to work together with Modular Finance?

It’s been great! What especially stands out is that you’ve responded quickly when we’ve had suggestions or needed adjustments. The in-built chat function is helpful for data queries, which are typically answered very quickly. And there are a couple of features we asked for that were implemented surprisingly fast. We’re a tech business like you, and we recognise the effort and energy required to achieve that.
